DESCRIPTION

AWS is seeking a WW Specialist to drive Windows workloads modernization efforts globally. The Specialist will be responsible for defining, building and deploying effective and targeted sales plays to help customers modernize Windows workloads on AWS. The Specialist will work with sales and solution architect teams to track, prioritize and close customer engagements that would benefit from modernizing their Windows workloads on AWS, and collaborate and coordinate cross-functional teams around these engagements where appropriate. The Specialist will drive the engagement with customer's development and infrastructure teams, apply lessons learned from enterprises modernizing at scale on AWS, and build/evolve prescriptive guidance to help customers reliably scale modernization efforts.

The candidate will be able to thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and long-term about the needs of complex global businesses. The ideal candidate will also be deeply familiar with complex legacy IT environments, managed enterprise IT infrastructure services, Enterprise applications, and has done market analysis, deal negotiation and construction, business operations, and has a background that enables them to create scalable programs that apply holistic approaches to selling to Enterprises and Enterprise Partners.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Defines, builds and deploys business development and GTM strategies
- Works backwards from customer needs, develop and evolve AWS application modernizations value proposition and engagement mechanisms
- Engages, supports and scales business development and sales teams across AWS to be capable of delivering the Windows modernization value proposition to enterprise customers and partners.
- Engages and drives scale at engaging enterprise customers and partners about modernizing their Windows environment today and into the future
- Identifies opportunities to build compelling proposals to help customers achieve business value from application modernization and ensure clarity on AWS's value proposition(s).
- Engages in senior level customer meetings to discuss customers' business issues and helps customers achieve business outcomes;
- Serves as an evangelist for ?Modernizing on the Cloud' within AWS, and externally;
- Establishes ways to measure and track metrics related to adoption and make improvements to the approach based on those measurements;
- Own creation and execution of the strategic business development plan while working with key internal stakeholders (e.g. sales teams, product service teams, legal, support, etc.).



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

? BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent work experience required
? 7+ years relevant work experience in technology-enabled consultative, delivery, solutions, or business development roles focused on enterprises.
? 7+ years of experience developing, implementing, managing, and executing customer programs.
? Experience/understanding of managed services market and insights related to cloud computing/Information Technology;
? Experience with enterprise negotiation skills, and business and financial acumen;
? Experience conducting customer feedback and market research analytics

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

? Strong analytical skills, and demonstrated ability to turn detailed data analysis into useful strategic insight in order to drive customer adoption and make appropriate recommendations to the business;
? Excellent business and financial acumen and negotiations skills.
? Operational excellence, adept at simplifying complexity and developing scalable propositions.
? Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations is key
? Master's degree/MBA preferred - A technical background in Information Systems, engineering or computer science a plus.
? Experience working with Fortune 1000 and/or Global 2000 organizations;
? Experience with cloud computing and or related fields (IT, software, etc)
? Experience working with large Enterprise customers on their IT strategy
? Experience working with Microsoft Windows solutions preferred
? The right person will be analytical, and experience driving strategic Go To Market and Product activities for related subjects and business customers.
