SUMMARY

Working with general supervision, the Senior Engineer, Security is responsible for the configuration and management of data confidentiality, integrity and availability services in an enterprise environment. This position interacts with a manager several times a week, perhaps daily, to receive guidance and feedback. Some degree of autonomy and decision making will be necessary but may require managers advanced approval.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Problem solve to mitigate business security gaps
* Evaluate, implement, configure and manage security solutions
* Resolve issues of increasing complexity related to area of expertise as they occur
* Collaborate with team members across IT
* Facilitate IT service management processes
* Knowledge of the latest trends and awareness of current hacking techniques and cyber crime

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

* Bachelors degree with a regionally accredited program or 5+ years relevant work experience
* 7+ years of related experience. 12+ years for educational equivalency
* Must be available to work after hours and weekends as needed
* Must participate in an on-call rotation and accept calls after hours and on weekends in order to respond to the needs of a 24x7 support environment
* Tools: CyberArk, Palo Alto Prisma Cloud & Compute, Rapid7 (InsightIDR)
* Cloud environments: AWS, GCP & Azure

* Masters degree Preferred
* IAM & Privileged Access Management
