What youll be doing

The Vice President of Tableau Global Services will lead one of the fastest growing business units in Tableau Software including: Professional Services (Consulting, Advisory Services), Education and Certifications, Partner Certifications, Partner Subcontracting, and Premium Support (Service Sales, Delivery in Tech Support). The scope of this role is global with multiple teams in various markets including: Amer, EMEA, and APJ which requires a balance of localized support and global best practices. The role is responsible for a complete, end-to-end P&L, with corresponding revenue, quota, budget, commissions, and operating cost responsibility. The role also leads and drives new service product development including; pricing, packaging, enablement with deep interfaces into our eCommerce business. In this role, the leader will manage hundreds of diverse employees across the globe with a variety of skills sets ranging from Sales, Ops, Consulting, Content Development, Education, Architects, and Product Development. The growth potential in this role is enormous as we embark on selling full-line, Enterprise solutions to customers implementing Analytics including both Tableau and Tableau CRM.

The VP pf Tableau Global Services leader will be an integral member of the Customer Solutions leadership team given the importance of Services to ensure full adoption and value realization of our software and report directly to the SVP of the Customer Solutions Group (CSG). This leader will drive and lead deeper integration into global Success plans for top Enterprise accounts working closely with Account Executives from both Tableau and Salesforce, Success leadership, and Tech Support to ensure we deliver customers a holistic, well integrated customer experience. Focused on customer success and adoption of Tableau, this role is responsible for ensuring that Tableaus customers are delighted and will have a track record of customer success that promotes the highest levels of customer satisfaction, adoption and return on investment.

Some of the things youll be doing include

* Revenue: Close new and recurring business with accounts of various sizes and durations of engagements. Develop relationships with top Enterprise customers and actively participate in Executive business reviews with C-level executives. Develop and ensure product offerings support customers in various stages of their lifecycle. Drive renewal and expansion of ongoing engagements that lead to long-term success and revenue.
* Delivery: Operate an efficient and effective delivery model that ensures customers receive top-level services through direct and partner resources. Drive and own internal and external certification programs that maintain excellence in service. Develop and manage sophisticated capacity planning models to ensure we properly anticipate and resource engagements in a timely manner that serves customers. Manage costs to drive YoY efficiency and margin improvements.
* Product Leadership: Become an expert in the features, benefits and application of Tableaus technologies and effectively develop, build, and sell corresponding services that meet customer needs. Develop pricing and packaging options that help deepen customer trail, engagement and renewal of services.
* Engagement: Drive methods that assure that collective Sales teams are achieving the revenue plan and align internal and partner resources to drive customer success and margins of the business. Work closely with Sales colleagues to align incentives, commissions, and actions guaranteeing exceptional quarterly and annual sales achievement
* Planning: Develop long-term strategic and operating plans that will continue to transform Services into an integral part of the Success model. Ensure the Professional Services plan achieves company goals with continued achievement of the margin targets of the business.
* Leadership: Build, develop and retain high performing teams that lead positive contributions throughout the company.

* 10+ years of work experience in enterprise software, SaaS and across customer-facing roles in Success, Renewals, Services & Tech Support with high P&L accountability.
* 10+ years in functional leadership, with at least 5 years managing Sr. Directors / Directors or higher.
* Ability to work independently and in a strong team environment, and to deliver on detail as well as strategy. Proven collaborator and with the ability to work with all levels and departments within an organization.
* Excellent leadership, management, and interpersonal skills. High EQ and ability to lead with positive influence
* Passion for technology and innovation, and a proven forward thinker
* Experience in attracting, hiring, developing, motivating and retaining consulting talent. Develop and groom the future leaders of the company

Preferred Experience:

* Experience managing P&L for global services
* Experience in Services in Analytics, Business Intelligence or Databases businesses
