POSITION: Associate Director, Sales Frozen Mini Meals, Sides and Snacks
DUTIES: Manage relationships with key retailers working with field sales and category marketing to maximize shelf presence of Kraft Heinz frozen portfolio to gain share from key competitors; Lead 80+ product launch sell-in projects across $1B+ frozen categories by developing robust business proposals that combines brand story with customers strategic interests; Monitor compliance to tactical guardrails across pricing, merchandising, distribution to maintain balance across channels and maximize revenue potential and fulfil customer expectations; Supervise a $300MM+ trade budget to maximize spend efficiency and ensure spend discipline across total frozen categories to balance KHCs financial goals against competitive threats; Drive sales forecasting efficiency by coordinating with demand, supply and sales by leading monthly routines to identify key volume drivers and effectively communicating product needs; Identify and execute against whitespace revenue opportunities across different channels through secondary research, innovation voids and profitable promotion plans incremental to plan; Analyze competitive landscape periodically to help the team maintain an optimal go to market strategy and react dynamically to competitive threats; Provide cross-functional support to operational teams throughout new item commercialization process and ensure progress of projects against pre-specified launch dates to hit customer timelines; Own communication routines with sales teams (often involving 50+ participants) to gather market intelligence, highlight BU priorities and changes to brand strategies and tactics; Develop strong relationships with category marketing, demand, supply, revenue management and most importantly field sales to guarantee efficient execution and revenue realization; Proactively address supply challenges by fulfilling out of turn product needs and managing communication with customers and field sales teams in coordination with supply chain; AND Manage/mentor category sales teams to develop into next sales leaders empowered to deliver against bigger Kraft Heinz responsibilities and fulfil career aspirations
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Engineering or Accounting, and at least 42 months of experience in a directly related Food and Beverages role. Previous experience must have included at least 12 months of direct sales experience focusing on frozen category with a FMCG Fortune 500 retailer, and some experience with: Leading customer negotiations and annual joint business plans with grocery retailers covering financial, marketing support, and supply agreements; Leading Sales forecasting routines and demand planning for minimum $500M portfolio, including forecasting models and driving forecast accuracy to minimum supply chain loss; Collaborative projects in a cross-functional environment across different levels in the organization including presentation experience with C-Suite; Financial projects involving ownership of trade budget or equivalent financial metric and experience driving spend efficiency; Data analytics tools including Nielsen, IRI, MS Excel (advanced) and Power Point; Leading project management initiatives with teams located in different geographies; Owning successful communication of deliverables across multiple internal and external stakeholders; Managing and leading promotional calendar; and Owning partnership with NFRA yearly convention from planning to execution of Frozen portfolio.
