Job Purpose:
Performs routine go/no-go tests of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies. Sets up test devices using hand tools or automatic test methods. Documents test results. May perform simple repairs and/or component removal or replacement. May maintain logs and records indicating malfunctions.
Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:
* Perform Sub assembly and system level functional test using MPI, WI, Test Procedures, e-Traveler & other supplied documentation as required.
* Be able to differentiate between Real and False rejects, address and correct False Rejects when related to Setup or Operation.
* Preferred at least 2 Years experience with Telecommunications , Networking, Switchers appliances as Test Operator
Education and Experience:
* Require 2-4 years of relevant experience
* Must be able to read, write, speak and understand verbal instructions in English.
* Able to lift 50 lbs
* Must have the ability to test assemblies to verbal or written instructions, or by following Test Process Instruction.
* Must have basic understanding of Electronic Networking Appliances
* Must be available for OT and weekend work as required in addition to minimum 40 hr./wk
