Information Assurance Engineer, Senior

As an information engineer on our project, youll provide support as one of the leads for the Distributed Common Ground Systems Armys information security operations. Youll coordinate work with customers and other teams to identify the right mix of tools and techniques to translate your customers IT needs and future goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective solutions. We need to come up with the best solution, so youll investigate new techniques, break free from the legacy model, and go where the industry is going. Youll lead the team through a critical approach to network design, providing alternatives and customizing solutions, to maintain a balance of security and mission needs. Your technical expertise will be vital as you help customers overcome their most difficult challenges by integrating secure practices by contributing to program strategy and helping to eliminate risks across projects. You Have:
-3+ years of experience with DoD cybersecurity, information assurance (IA), DoD Information Assurance Certification, Accreditation Process (DIACAP), or the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
-Experience with Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVA) and Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) compliance
-Experience with containers, including Cloud, Kubernetes, or Docker
-TS/SCI clearance
-BA or BS degree
-Current DoD 8570 IAM Level II Certification or obtain within 6 months of hire
Nice If You Have:
-Experience with the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS)
-Experience with developing security policies while performing mid and long-range policy planning
-Experience with Security Assessment and Authorization (SA&A), and Authorization to Operate (ATO) processes
-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
-MA or MS degree
-CISSP Certification
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
