If you are a TEST TECHNICIAN II professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our EAST WENATCHEE, WA location, you will learn to perform a variety of pressure and temperature testing simulating various environmental conditions as per our documented processes. Characterizing, Hyperbaric, Vacuum Chamber and many other specialized test formats!

AS A TEST TECHNICIAN, YOU WILL:

* Perform tests per documented procedures under different environmental conditions

* Document test results, maintain records and help establish test procedures

* Perform troubleshooting or evaluation on standard mechanical and electronic assemblies for component failures.

* Record data on work orders, internal routings or software

* Gain knowledge of multi-meter and power supply use

* Gain knowledge of hook-up and use of high-pressure gas cylinders

* Proper use of high-pressure gas cylinders

* Proficient computer skills, basic use of hand tools and small power tools

* Have basic understanding of electrical schematics/drawings

* Gain & practice safety knowledge pertaining to operation of equipment and processes.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

* High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED)

* Ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs

* Stand for extended periods of time at consoles - minimum 6 hours a day

* U.S. Person per ITAR Regulations

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

* Completion of 2-Year technical certified/vocational degree program

* Electronic Technical Training or certifications

* Working knowledge of Wheatstone Bridge
