Job Description
Launching your career in our Global Enterprise Operate group as an apprentice means you will dive head-first working with senior System Administrators, Systems Programmers, and business application teams performing daily activities that enable businesses and careers. Youll join an inspiring and curious team of technologists dedicated to improving the installation, configuration that goes into maintaining of one or more of the most complex computing environments. . Youll be tasked with keeping the team and other key stakeholders up to speed on the s status and health of multiple systems while maintaining a reliable operation . Coming in with an awareness of the importance of the mainframe compute environment is key. And best of all, youll be working with and sharing ideas, information and innovation with our global team of technologists from all over the world.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
* Beginner level understanding of large scale compute ennvironments such as z/OS, Mainframe hardware and systems functions, and Proficiency in the use of applications running on Windows and Linux workstationsAwareness of installing, troubleshooting, operating, testing, planning or configuring relevant technologiesAbility to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
* Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement
