Job Description
As a Production Operator, you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives! Starting rate $18.30 based on assignment and may be higher depending on experience and skill.
* Must perform all job task in a safe manner by following all of the mandatory safety requirements and guidelines.
* Ability and willingness to adjust to change and to be assigned to any production area in the plant.
* Work safely and use good judgement in all work situations.
* Effectively resolve and troublshoot problems.
* Work effectively with others to accomplish goals and take ownership.
* Start up and stop equipment.
* Take and follow instructions from supervisors.
* Carry out basic quality and testing check.
* Work with equipment following set safety procedure, including working with hazardous chemicals, laboratory and other devices.
* Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
* Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
* Ability to work in varying environments depending on assignment. This includes dust, dirt, hot and or wet conditions, and outdoor elements.
* Must follow strict safety procedures.
* Flexible to be pulled from one job to the next and then go back to first job as needed.
* Able to work in a respirator.
* Able to climb fixed ladders, portable ladders, extension ladders.
* Able to work overtime as necessary.
* Must be able to work a rotating shift.
* Able to work in any area of the plant.
* Manually lift up to 50 LBS.
* Able to stand for long periods and frequently use stairs, catwalks, and ladders.
