Job Summary:

The Associate Analyst (Advanced Analytics) at Partners Federal Credit Union is responsible for providing analytical support to the Business Intelligence team and to a cross-functional set of business partners. The role will support business users across the organization and must be able to communicate, collaborate, and interact effectively with different teams. This role will support projects including but not limited to member segmentation, marketing and promotional campaigns, operations enablers, and various growth initiatives.

Responsibilities:

* Create analytical data sets to support key strategic initiatives - Collect, blend and harmonize raw data from a variety of structured and unstructured sources and cleanse and prepare that data for analysis. This includes activities such as (but not limited to) SQL code development to pull data and transform data into formats needed for analysis, to create new data elements derived from raw data, and to test and ensure data integrity and traceability back to source when needed.
* Support business initiatives by mining data for insights and applying advanced analytics techniques where appropriate.
* Research and determine analytic best practices and innovative approaches that can improve and enhance current data/insights programs.

Basic Qualifications:

* 1 - 3 years of industry experience using advanced analytics methods in a business environment
* Proven experience in SQL, R and other data retrieval tools in the business environment

Preferred Qualifications:

* Proven experience in advanced analytics modeling tools such as R, Python, or comparable programming languages.
* Experience in the credit union or financial services industry
* Extreme curiosity about data with a strong desire to learn new things

Required Education

Bachelor's Degree in Computer and Information Systems, Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics or a closely related field

Preferred Education

Master's Degree in Computer and Information Systems, Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics or a closely related field

Additional Information:

Availability - This position is a Temp/Recurring assignment, working approximately 20 hours per week through the end of the year, with potential for extension. While the schedule is flexible a majority of the 20 hours per week would need to be worked during traditional business hours Monday-Friday.

Remote Work Environment - This position is currently able to work remote, however this position may need to work in the office environment in the future.
