The Messenger Business Product Marketing team works across Messenger and Instagram Direct to uncover deep customer and market insights, position our products and solutions, define go-to-market strategy, and tell our narrative through content and campaigns. Were responsible for first-party tools, APIs for developers, and monetization products, and we help shape scalable programs used by sales and partnerships teams. As a team, we are entrepreneurial, thoughtful, and have fun as we work together to grow business messaging. We are looking for an experienced Product Marketing Manager to help us identify and build solutions that grow and monetize business messaging. The ideal candidate will have experience developing a deep understanding of the market and players, identifying key opportunities, influencing product strategy, and establishing world-class go-to-market strategies that unlock opportunities for the businesses and partners we serve. This role requires strong collaboration skills, as projects will require regular cross-team and cross-functional work.
Product Marketing Manager - Messenger Business Responsibilities
* Understand market, competitive landscape, and target audiences, and translate into insights
* Inform and influence product strategy in partnership with product management, user research, engineering, and product marketing partners across multiple product areas
* Develop clear, customer-centric product positioning, messaging, and narratives that can scale to multiple business audiences
* Drive go-to-market programs with cross-functional partners
* Launch new products and features, and manage the cross-functional execution of the plan
Minimum Qualifications
* 4+ years of experience in product or audience marketing roles
* Experience creating messaging and content for multiple audiences
* Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders
* BA/BS degree
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in a consumer or business focused technology company
* Experience working with sales and channel partners
* MBA
