The Opportunity

The Broker Trainee position is an 8-week paid training program dedicated to obtaining your FINRA SIE, Series 7 & 63 licenses through virtual learning.

What to expect:

* Access to licensing materials through videos, live coaches, and prep exams.
* Ongoing one on one touchpoints to monitor progress and provide support.
* On the job training provided upon completion of the required licenses.

The Work Itself (Once Licensed)

* Provide assistance to customers by answering phone calls and responding to emails and live chats.
* Place and/or facilitate the execution of customer orders, resolve complicated customer trading concerns, respond to customer inquiries on related issues, and troubleshoot basic technical problems.
* Ability to understand and interpret account balances and activity.
* Service internal requests and maintain inventory positions to ensure the firm is not at any undue risk.
* Partner with operations teams to assist in client feedback and development of applications to improve the client experience.
* Understand, comply, maintain, and reinforce regulatory and firm policies and procedures/guidelines.

The Skills You Bring

* 1-2 years of prior customer service, call center, operations, or financial service/trading industry related experience.
* Strong oral and written communication with a passion to provide an exceptional customer experience.
* Able to exercise independent thought and judgment, adapt to new tasks with little notice, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a multi-task environment.
* Proven expertise and in Microsoft Desktop Operations systems (Windows 7, WindowsXP, Apple Mac OS X).
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent business experience.
* Willing to work flexible schedules, weekends, and overtime as necessary to meet business needs.
