Summary: Provides preventative care and repairs for HVAC systems by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Helps identify problems with heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning systems for commercial and industrial customers.
2. Carefully examines the equipment to diagnose and troubleshoot problems.
3. Assists HVAC foreman in the repair or replacement of defective equipment, mechanical components, or wiring within the HVAC system.
4. Performs preventive maintenance tasks and inspections on HVAC equipment.
5. Inspects HVAC systems for effectiveness and safety.
6. Keep records of customer appointments and payment transactions, to include invoices.
7. Maintain accurate inventory of all equipment, tools, and HVAC resources

Requirements and Qualifications:

1. 3-5 years' experience required
2. Certification through the Environmental Protection Agency to handle refrigerants required
3. Must hold state HVAC technician license
4. Certification or associate's degree from an HVAC program at a technical school preferred
5. Strong verbal communication skills, ability to explain complex HVAC issues with customers in a way they understand
6. Critical-thinker, problem-solver
7. Must hold state driver's license
8. Must be punctual and adhere to a daily schedule with multiple appointments in different locations
