Overview:

The Global IT Project Lead, Digital will lead, execute and support projects/initiatives/activities for the IT GBU portfolio. In this role, the Global IT Project Lead, Digital, will manage projects, end-to-end. This individual may also serve as a consultant to the business related to certain IT matters.

Responsibilities:

* Manage the complete project cycle of the GBU IT portfolio

* Lead and implement projects of medium to high complexity

* Own key tasks, demonstrate solid business knowledge, perform tasks with minimum direction, give guidance to others, and handle complex problems

* Work with functional leaders on documentation, planning, monitoring of activities, communications, execution of activities and control of the project process

* Analyze and make decisions that have cross functional business impact

* Gather, understand and document business objectives, specifications and requirements

* Develop and execute unit/system test cases, scripts and plans

* Define, design, and document business flows and processes

* Define and articulate business rules required for data accuracy and consistency

* Identify and resolve data quality issues

* Act as the primary contact for the data management process between IT developers and the business

* Provide end-user support on applications supported within the organization

* Identify, analyze, propose and document appropriate solutions for problems and issues that may impact the project

* Understand and follow appropriate SDLC, quality validation processes and application processes

* Communicate status, solutions and concerns to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner

* Provide cross-functional and business knowledge to develop business system and process alternatives

* Identify, evaluate, develop and/or redesign systems and procedures to meet user requirements

* Create detailed written user requirements for developers

* Assist in the development of system documentation and training materials as well as training processes

Requirements:

* Bachelors degree in IT or similar field

* Knowledge in programming, consultation of databases, systems infrastructure, application architecture, and software engineering

* Extensive project management experience required

* PMP, Agile, SCRUM, Lean SixSigma or similar certifications preferred

* Strong leadership and teamwork sills

* Understanding of business concepts and knowledge of industry technologies

* Excellent oral and written communication skills

* An ability to motivate, train and lead geography dispersed teams

* Sense of urgency with excellent follow-up skills
