Description:
The selected individual will work as part of the Cybersecurity team and must be able to perform in a fast-paced environment. SOF GLSS supports the customer with a quick turnaround based on evolving needs. Responsible for developing and executing cyber governance, risk and compliance processes, policies, tools and strategies to assess, identify, mitigate and validate cyber risk across the organization or program.
Basic Qualifications:
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Cyber Security certification and accreditation experience, previous assignments in evaluating / documenting compliance with associated standards/specifications
- Experience with incorporating STIGS, assessing systems for compliance, establishment of security controls, POA&M and mitigation efforts supporting the development and approval of C&A packages
- Ability to obtain DOD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Sec + CE) within 6-months
Desired Skills:
The ideal candidate will have experience in:

- DOD policy and procedures
-Host and Network security tools, including eMASS, ACAS, HBSS, Splunk, and Core Impact
- Ability to break down complex issues into understandable components and communicate at the appropriate level for the target audience
