Job Description

Facebook is seeking a Product Marketing Manager for People Signals products within the Signals Business Product Marketing organization.
With ecosystem shifts such as GDPR, ePrivacy, CCPA and heightened privacy concerns around third party data, understanding the value of onsite data for ads and investing in creating valuable onsite interactions and privacy compliant ads products is critical to the future of Facebook Ads. This role will help identify net new investments we should make across the family of apps to grow meaningful people to business interactions. This role will also help shape the go-to-market strategies for Signals products.

The ideal candidate will have a track record of shaping product strategy and roadmaps, a strong understanding of the advertising market and a strong understanding and vision for how we can better meet the needs of data-driven performance marketers. You will work most closely with product & engineering teams along with cross-functional partners like sales leadership, marketing, marketing science and partnership teams. You will conduct market-needs assessments and competitive research to influence product roadmaps, develop and execute global launch plans to bring ads products to market. The candidate must demonstrate a vision for the Ads ecosystem, performance marketing (also known as direct response), exhibit problem solving, analytical, communication, and product positioning skills, thrive in an ambiguous environment and drive impact across cross functional teams.

Product Marketing Manager, People Signals Responsibilities

* Drive product strategy bridging short-term execution and long-term vision

* Identify product opportunities through customer interviews and qualitative and quantitative analysis

* Produce market assessments including competitive analysis, customer segmentation, and product requirements

* Work closely with the product management and engineering team to deliver world-class products, including driving prioritization decisions

* Manage product alphas and betas to direct product refinements and identify critical customer needs that must be met by the product in order to launch

* Develop the go-to-market strategy for product releases, and be able to execute those plans

* Support sales teams in handling customer questions and on signals business tools and partner with engineering and product teams to coordinate troubleshooting these tools

* Refine the product positioning, materials, and training for sales and clients

* Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams including Marketing Communications and PR

* Assess adoption of released products, and conduct analysis on impact to the business

* Work across other teams at Facebook to ensure there is alignment in product and business objectives

Minimum Qualifications

* 12+ years experience working in a product marketing, management consulting, product strategy or equivalent function (partnered with product management and/or engineering to represent market requirements)

* Experience with analytics and marketing/advertising

* Experience communicating and simplifying concepts

* Organization and interpersonal experience with experience setting priorities that solve problems and take on multiple tasks

* Experience working in a cross-functional team

* BA/BS degree

Preferred Qualifications

* Masters degree

* Organization and people skills with experience in setting priorities, problem-solving, multi-tasking and working independently in a dynamic, rapidly changing workplace

* Technical degree or knowledge on technical products
