RECOVERY SUPPORT NAVIGATOR (RSN)
Please join our dynamic Community Services team here at Arbour Counseling, Allston. We are looking for full-time, independent, hard workers who love supporting those in need, while enjoying a flexible schedule, a supportive work environment, and competitive compensation. Our Recovery Support Navigators (RSN) work with adults of all ages in the community, living with substance use disorders and/or co-occurring disorders.
We provide skills training and connections to community resources to support independent living in their communities, decrease the risk of hospitalization or relapse of substance use, and improve overall quality of life. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to expand their knowledge and/or pursue higher education in the field of mental health and social work. Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree preferred in Psychology, or a related field with one (1) year of experience providing direct care.
* Must possess sufficient knowledge and understanding about treatment and recovery from substance use disorders
* A valid Massachusetts driver's license
* Daily access to a working, registered and insured vehicle (in your name)
* Excellent in both written and verbal communications.
* Ability to independently plan and organize one's own schedule and activities.
* Knowledge of basic Microsoft computer systems and an understanding of the internet
* Strong time management and organization skills.
