Position Specific Description
We are looking for a tech-savvy, result-oriented and process-driven Senior Production Engineer. The Engineer will join a growing Haynesville asset team and will be responsible for maximizing profitability and production of the Haynesville asset. Individual needs exposure to HSE associated with high pressure gas field operations. The position is based in Houston, TX and requires frequent travel to field ETX/NLA.
The ideal candidate will have +10 years of experience with Haynesville production operations including workover design and supervision, flowback activities, artificial lift design, and facilities design & construction.
Specific areas of accountability include
* Lead the field production operations personnel in order to insure a safe operation while managing Lease Operating Expenses and delivering the expected production targets
* Responsible for production system surveillance, including real-time monitoring as well as the planning, interpretation and visualization of all well surveillance activities. Provide technical leadership and guidance in the development of monitoring, and optimization activities
* Well integrity management for all wells in the production system(s) under responsibility, including carrying out risk assessments and implementing risk mitigation measures
* Develop and optimize wells flow back strategy, manage the flow back operations to insure proper implementation
* Monitor production trends, design workover and intervention programs in order to maximize gas recovery
* Determine reservoir performance for different recovery techniques using decline curve analysis, nodal analysis, and other models
* Review and write technical reports for engineering and management personnel
* Update best practices and work with other disciplines to apply continuous process improvement concepts
* Work alongside Integrate Supply Chain department in procurement activities including regular vendor meetings, request for procurement (RFP) and performance feedback
* Develop and update as needed field operations procedures as required by operations
* Provide engineering support as needed for bolt on acquisitions or new basin development opportunities
