Work Schedule: Either Monday-Friday 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM or Monday - Thursday 6 AM - 4:30 PM.
Ideal candidate will have cabinet making experience - machining, assembly and installation; experience working with plastic laminates and experience with solid surface and/or acrylics is preferred.

Cabinet SME
Provide leadership and expertise to other Cabinet Shop staff, Customers, Coordinators and Planners in the delivery of their product.
Preconstruction review
Provide preconstruction review of assigned projects. This should include review of drawings, prints, specifications and verbal communications from supervisor or clients.
Cabinet Fabrication
Builds and/or repairs cabinets of various sizes and designs, tables, doors, shelves, bookcases and a wide variety of other architectural elements. Items may include wood, plastic laminate, solid surface, Plexiglas materials and various other materials. Must be familiar with the cutting, tooling and proper applications of said materials.
Cabinet Installation
Installations of casework in various locations through out the Institution.
Safety
Maintain a safe work environment using protection as required by Environmental Health & Safety. Follow standards for safety and workmanship. Leave work area in proper condition. Maintains tools to meet safety requirements.
Team and Work Load Support
Supports or performs other work as nessessary in the management of the work load.
Essential Personnel
This position is considered essential personnel in the event of suspension of normal operations due to inclement weather or other emergencies. They are required to perform duties as outlined in the Emergency Management Plans.
Incidental Work
Other incidental or related duties as required.
Education Required:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience Required:
Five years journeyman level carpentry experience in the general repair and maintenance of buildings and fixtures.
