Logan Memorial Hospital
He/she will be responsible for performing hematology, chemistry, microscopic, uninalysis, immunologic and microbiologic testing in a prompt and reliable manner according to established hospital and departmental policies, appropriate to the ages and needs of the patient population served. He/she may help to set up new methodologies, help develop procedural protocols, and train lab personnel in procedures and the use of instrumentation. He/she will be expected to participate in PI activities and supports the hospital in meeting accreditation standards.
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Graduated from a clinical laboratory training program or 3 months experience in each specialty of high complexity testing performed for a MLT, a bachelor degree in Medical Technology for a MT.
2. Experience gained in fulfilling the clinical requirements to quality for the registry examination.
3. Good communication skills, detail oriented and computer skills helpful.
4. Ability to work alone or with others as team to ensure quality patient care.
