In this position, you will work as an Ultra-Pure water technician. You will be interacting with engineering as well as other operation technicians maintaining all Ultrapure water systems that include UPW, Polished, Advanced Oxidation Process (AOP), Soft Water Systems (SWS), Litho UPW (LUPW), Reverse Osmosis Product (ROP), Reverse makeup and recycled UPW system. In addition to the treatment systems, you will also maintain the Industrial Water (IW) and City Water systems.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

* Operating and maintaining ultra-pure water systems that support our operations facilities.
* Performing routine preventative and corrective maintenance procedures on a wide variety of building and facility equipment, fixtures, and systems.
* Utilizing quality systems and diagnosing process issues related to Reverse Osmosis, Filtration, Ion Exchange, Ultra Violet Light Sterilization, etc.
* Maintaining Analytical equipment and creating Statistical reports (Preventative Excursion Management Systems).
* Utilizing Maximo Maintenance planning software.
* Assignments are semi-routine with work performed within generally defined parameters.
* Some degree of judgment is required in resolving non-standard problems.
* Interacting with the factory and other customers and stakeholders.
* Follow process procedures to complete the necessary training and certifications.

The successful candidate will be required to work a compressed week, day shift schedule: Shift 5: (days frontend) AM-PM Sun-Tues and alternating Wednesday days.

Qualifications

This is an entry-level position and will be compensated accordingly. You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.

Position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must possess at least one of the following:

* Associate of Science degree in STEM or related field.
* Military service plus 6+ months of work experience in water system operations.
* 6+ months of experience with water operations and troubleshooting, including procedure review and development.
* Grades 1 or 2 Water Treatment Operator Certification with the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality.

Preferred Qualifications:

* David H. Paul UPW certification or equivalent would be an added advantage.
* Facilities maintenance experience.
* Proficiency in Maximo and ICMTL, SPEED a plus.
