Job Description
The IP Office within the Xeon and Networking Engineering Group (XNE) is responsible for managing the IP components of the next generation Xeon server products. The IP supplier management includes the identification of IPs, negotiation of contracts, and tracking and managing IPs to their commitments. IP functional and handoff quality is an important success criteria for projects and the IP Office helps manage the processes to insure high-quality design. For many IPs, the overall success of the program also involves partnering with the related firmware and software suppliers that complete the overall system design and verification.
XNE is looking for an engineering program manager to directly manage programs driving our next generation products. We're looking for someone with program management skills that can drive IP quality from a consumer perspective.
In this role responsibilities include, although not limited to:
* Plan and manage programs or aspects of programs through their definition, implementation, and final qualification
* IP and software suppliers may be internal or external to Intel
* Program managers will need to use multi-disciplinary skills that tie together architecture, logic design, validation, physical implementation, firmware, BIOS, emulation, and pre-silicon system verification
* Use clear organization of data from many sources and be able to communicate status and changes that impact the program clearly and efficiently
* Use analysis skills to understand trends, track issues, and uncover potential gaps or misunderstandings
* Provide leadership across the IP, SoC, and Software teams to drive execution to commitments and resolve issues
* Provide inputs to overall program plans that includes schedules, dependencies, and risks
* Review the user and technical requirements of the program and communicate expectations to suppliers

Colorado Pay Transparency Law requires that Intel discloses the compensation for jobs which could be performed in Colorado. Intel anticipates that the annual base pay range for this role in Colorado is Min $110720 - Max $183250 In addition to base pay, regular Intel employees are eligible for an Annual Performance Bonus (APB) and Quarterly Profit Bonus (QPB). Payout of APB is subject to eligibility and other program conditions as well as the Companys performance to its operational and financial goals. Payout of QPB connects Intels employees to the quarterly profits of the Company. Employees in eligible sales and marketing positions receive commission in lieu of APB but are eligible for QPB. Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must have a Bachelors degree Electrical Engineering or similar and 6+ years of experience -OR- a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or similar and 4+ years of experience in:
* SoC Design
* Quality Processes
* Technical Program Management
* IP Supplier Management
Preferred Qualifications:
* Knowledge of IP quality processes and tools
* Experience in automate checks and flows to enhance quality processes
* Knowledge of CPU development, servers, and Xeon products
