Are you an experienced Plant/Manufacturing Controller, hands on, result oriented and looking for a new professional challenge in a global, fast growing company?
In this role, youll be responsible for driving stronger focus on Supply Chain Operations Americas, supporting Regional Operational Excellence, influencing and advising local management on sound financial decisions.
Youll have the opportunity to be key contributor of the Regional Supply Chain Leadership team and serve as an important contributor to short-term initiatives as well as the long-term strategic direction of operations by using sound financial assessments to influence decisions. Work as part of Regional Supply Chain Operations management team to maximize plant profitability.
You should possess 7-10 years experience in Manufacturing/Plant Controlling roles in fast paced industrial companies, with proven experience in Supply Chain Management. Automotive/Mechanical Industry exposure is a strong plus.

Main Activities / Responsibilities:
Develop and drive plant continuous profitability improvement ideas and programs through a combination of specified commercial activity (service charge/freight recovery), cost leakage elimination, cost reduction programs, etc.
Lead financial planning across Regional supply chain for all forecasting processes (Annual Operating Plan, monthly and quarterly plan updates,). Requires collaboration with procurement, manufacturing/co-man, logistics, etc.
Lead/support responses to routine and ad hoc requests from management for critical financial analyses.
Analyze plant income statement (volumes, absorptions, variances, semi-variable costs, fixed costs, SG&A, etc.) and inventory transactions to identify issues, report on performance and drive continuous improvement.
Prepare materials and lead discussions for all financial portions of plant quarterly review meetings
Coordinate the preparation and submission of plant driven (manufacturing equipment, cost reduction, maintenance, EHS, quality, etc.) capital projects.
Lead Americas Technical Accounting function, being responsible for SOX compliance, Standard Costing and variances analyses.
Cross-functional management of regional resources.
Experience & General Skills:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent experience is required.
7 -10 years of experience in accounting/finance as Plant Controller in a manufacturing environment (or equivalent), Cost Accounting experience is required.
Positive attitude and strong team player with eagerness to learn and add value to the organization.
Strong understanding of supply chain operations, cost accounting, and capital accounting.
Highly analytical with attention to detail. Ability to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers.
Intellectually curious and willing to understand the business.
Self-starter who will take initiative. Independent in work ethic and thought process, needing little direction. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with SAP system.
Fluent in English and ideally Portuguese or Spanish.
