Job Title: Senior Software Engineer- SISW- MG- 230798

The candidate will play a pivotal role in a mature technology development team in creating a new EDA software product aimed toward mixed signal designers who are creating modern mixed signal designs utilizing advanced semiconductor processes. The candidate will demonstrate knowledge of and experience with the challenges of developing IC layout and schematic tools for that target market. Proficiency with the algorithmic and database patterns involved in advanced EDA tools is a must. Previous experience working with or for design teams operating at the 16nm and 7nm process nodes in the custom or semi-custom space is required. The candidate will demonstrate the ability to operate in a geographically diverse, agile development environment on both Windows and Linux platforms. The candidate will demonstrate familiarity and a comfort level working with modern software development framework tools such as GIT Lab and Visual Studio.

Specific Qualifications

* Extensive expertise in C++ and TCL programming using Visual Studio on Windows
* Linux software development with GCC
* Experience in using GIT for software management
* Experience with advanced node EDA design tool chains and flow for TSMC 16nm and 7nm
* Must be able to work remotely with geographically disparate teams
* Experience with EDA software usage and development
* Customer engagement for EDA software support

Desired Candidate will hold a BSEE or BSCS +10yrs experience, or an MSEE/CS + 8 Yrs, or a or PhD + 1 to 5 years (0-1 year with research in an IC design relevant area)
