Responsibilities:
·         Collaborate and lead complex product functionality and architecture.

·         Analyze internal development process and make recommendations for changes.
·         Produce Design Documents for assigned platform features/enhancements/migrations.
·         Provide feedback on functionality requests regarding feasibility and complexity.
·         Collaborate with and serve as a resource between departments on detailed technical product information.
·         Create strategic documents and vision plans at platform-wide scale.  

Education, Experience & Training required

·         Master’s degree or higher in CS, EE, Mathematics, or related field. Equivalent experience considered.
·         15+ years work experience in a technical related field with a track record of increasing complexity and scale

·         Advanced knowledge and practical delivery using a continuous integration and delivery process in an agile, open source environment, and a long term track record of successfully operating these deliveries against a stringent service-level agreement (SLA.)
·         Strong programming and architectural knowledge in modern languages (Go, Node.js, and/or Python strongly preferred, plus working skills in at least one functional language)
·         Successful implementations and operations of several major open source packages in an enterprise environment
·         Extensive experience working with Service Oriented Architectures, micro-services, Kubernetes, service meshes, serverless architectures, and event driven architectures
·         Track record of large customer-facing product delivery at Internet scale in at least one purely native public cloud offering
