Intel is seeking a Senior DevOps/Automation Engineer to work in the Software Engineering team. This position will be part of a Global Engineering organization supporting next generation engineering innovations. Ideal candidate will have solid Hands-On experience in administration of modern/distributed SCM systems, particularly Git/GitHub. Primary areas of contribution would be Systems Administration and Development of Automation for Software Configuration Management, and Code Control tools in a highly complex Engineering environment
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer engineering or other science/engineering related field.
Solid Hands-On experience in administration of modern/distributed SCM systems, particularly Git/GitHub.
5+ years of experience with one or more scripting languages, Python preferred.
Experience with build management tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.
Solid understanding of Networking protocols and Cloud Infrastructure (Azure preferably).
Extensive knowledge of Windows and Unix/Linux operating systems.
Background on Infrastructure automation management using Ansible would be desired.
End-to-end understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including build automation, versioning control, code quality, release engineering.
-Experience with modern infrastructure monitoring tools.
