Steward Medical Group at Hawthorn Medical Associates is looking for an enthusiastic, friendly, Patient Greeter/Screener to assist our providers in the treatment of patients. The successful candidate will:
* Provide a positive first impression of Hawthorn Medical Associates to patients and visitors by extending a cordial welcome, answering questions, referring patients and visitors to appropriate resources and assisting with other requests.
* Screen patients, visitors and employees when they arrive.
* Distribute masks, as necessary.
* Provide directions and wayfinding assistance to patients and visitors.
* Ensure that the entrance areas are clean and free from debris or trash left by patients or visitors. Wipe down surfaces as necessary during shift.
* Maintain effective working relations and communication with departmental and other Hawthorn Medical personnel as well as various community interactions as appropriate to the position.
* Remain flexible in all shift coverage and overtime situations as they become necessary.
* Bilingual with proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is required.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills, including de-escalation techniques.
* Must be friendly, welcoming and people-oriented with problem solving skills.
Qualifications:
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
One year of experience as a customer service representative or similar role is preferred. Health care industry is a plus.
