An excellent career opportunity is currently available for a Procurement Project Director, Working Capital role within Honeywells Performance Materials and Technologies (PMT) business located in Houston, TX. This position will be on the PMT Procurement Functional Excellence team and report directly to the Sr. Director, Functional Excellence & Capital Procurement leading inventory reductions and working capital improvements, enabling working capital impact of $35M annually. The role will lead a global team that tracks payables and inventory and develops strategies to deploy overall inventory reduction, lead time improvements, and pay term improvements, Incoterm improvements within the PMT Integrated Supply Chain Organization and generates monthly reporting of the financial and operating results. The role will prepare and monitor on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis the performance results of PMT Procurement Working Capital Initiative and report to all levels of organization including the PMT Procurement Leadership Team.
Position Responsibilities:
* * Lead the Global Working Capital team to drive cash flow improvements through multiple levers including Vendor
* Managed Inventory, Pay Term Improvements, Lead Time, Minimum Order Quantity, Incoterm improvements, Monthly Payment Optimization, Supply Chain Financing, etc.
* Partner with Integrated Supply Chain, Business Leaders and Direct Procurement to develop pipelines and drive execution of pipeline projects
* Actively participate and lead STRAP and AOP development process by providing key analytical inputs and ensure Corporate and PMT Procurement and Procurement to Finance alignments
* Assist Strategic Commodity Managers to develop negotiation strategies, negotiate with suppliers and execute contracts
* Interface with FE and IT to develop SAP tools to enable and track VMI
* Implement Visual Data Management tools to assist Commodity Managers in creating inventory improvement strategies
* Drive implementation of Productivity/Working Capital Tracker that will provide automated real-time data and analytics
YOU MUST HAVE
* Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management
* Minimum 5 years experience within Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, or ISC functions
* Minimum 3 years experience working in SAP
WE VALUE
* Advanced Technical Degree or Supply Chain, MBA is a plus
* Advanced Microsoft office knowledge (word, power point, excel) including exposure to VBA programming
* Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
* Strong project managements skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the organization
* Extensive hands on experience working with very large data sets, including statistical analyses, data visualization, data mining, and data cleansing/transformation is needed.
* Experience in contract negotiations for supply between large corporations, including contracting strategies, etc.
Additional languages while not a requirement would be a bonus.
