General Responsibilities
The Zone Talent Acquisition Partner will be a member of the Talent Acquisition team and will be responsible for supporting and implementing the recruiting strategy for their area of responsibility as defined by the Manager of Talent Acquisition to attract diverse talent to our available positions. The individual in this role will build relationships with internal partners and external organizations to attract talent and stay up to date on current trends in talent acquisition. The Zone Talent Acquisition Partner will be responsible for closing staffing gaps across the Southeast & Florida zones and be a support component for the development and training of other Talent Partners.
SOURCING & RECRUITING TALENT
* Utilizes creative thinking skills to develop and implement effective TA sourcing and recruiting plans to hire the right talent at the right time in hard to fill markets as identified by the manager.
* Effectively manages the full recruiting lifecycle for exempt and non-exempt positions
* Actively sources talent using creative recruiting techniques including but not limited to job boards, social media, cold calling, job fairs, networking, and community organizations
* Explores and drives opportunities to engage current employees in being ambassadors for Hertz employer brand (employee referrals, social media, etc.)
EVALUATING TALENT
* Interviews, assesses and recommends candidates for hire, schedules additional interviews, extends offers of employment and initiates drug screening and background investigation processes
PROBLEM SOLVING
* Identifies real and potential talent acquisition and market concerns and escalates to the appropriate TA Leadership team member with a plausible solution and implementation capability.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
* Ensures a great experience for candidates and hiring managers throughout the entire recruiting lifecycle by remaining focused on providing excellent customer service
* Capable of establishing and maintaining successful relationships with upper-level leadership.
TEAMWORK & COLLABORATION
* Partners with managers, HR, and workforce management when applicable to stay in synch with both current and future hiring and business needs; developing talent sourcing solutions within assigned locations in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition Manager
* Train and develop other Talent Partners related to tools and technologies, processes and TA best practices
* Establishes and maintains effective relationships with hiring managers, human resource business partners, and organizations within the communities surrounding assigned locations
COMPLIANCE
* Maintains Applicant Tracking System (ATS) documentation and details throughout all phases of recruitment process
* Ensures compliance with all legal aspects of the Talent Acquisition function as well as internal compliance of selection and recruitment in accordance with defined policies and procedures
DRIVE FOR PERFORMANCE
* Leverages TA performance scorecard to drive continuous improvement regarding sourcing and recruiting efficiency for self and provide feedback to the Talent Acquisition Manager regarding areas of opportunity identified for team members
* Provide coaching and feedback to Talent Acquisition Partners
* Additional assignments as needed
Essential Requirements
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in a fast paced, high-volume on-line based centralized recruitment environment within a global organization. Extensive interviewing and sourcing experience are key requirements.
* Bachelor's degree in HR or Business, or equivalent preferred. Appropriate work experience will be considered in lieu of education
* Demonstrated experience developing and implementing effective proactive and reactive sourcing strategies that have yielded quality hires within complex difficult markets within a reasonable time period.
* Advanced knowledge of online hiring practices, behavioral-based interviewing and assessment techniques, tracking processes for applicants and open positions and TA performance metrics
* Demonstrates advanced knowledge of recruitment and selection techniques and methodologies, employment legislation and employment market trends in the relevant geographic location
* Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills
* Ability to make strong relationships & influence the business and the HR team
* Excellent interpersonal, communication and networking skills.
