Description

Aramark is amongst the leading providers of outsourced patient dining, retail food services, environmental services and patient transport services to the Healthcare industry. We are seeking an experiences Director of Business Development to develop and implement an effective sales strategy with our prime GPO partner, Vizient. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and executing sales, marketing and program implementation that will meet pre-determined targets and increase our market share. Additionally, this role will require regular interaction with senior level contacts at Vizient as well as with prospective Healthcare clients. This role will require you to respond to client RFPs and the ideal candidate will have great attention to detail. This role will be based in Dallas, Texas. Responsibilities

* Create and implement strategic sales and marketing plans that successfully achieve business objectives
* Compile timely and accurate data in Salesforce
* Use available data to accurately forecast sales and set appropriate performance goals
* Work with Vizient to develop relationships with senior level hospital clients and respond to RFPs as required.
* Pursue and bid on new/vertical healthcare opportunities that are Vizient lead that have not been vetted by regional teams
* Complete market research and analyze results to adjust sales and marketing strategy for maximum success
* Establish key relationships with Vizient team who leads/influences client bids
* Define & disseminate Vizient win criteria
* Influence deal process protocols with Vizient



Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent experience
* Minimum five years' experience in consultative sales to C-Suite
* Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed targets
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present strategy and results to team members at every level of the organization
* Ability to create and maintain positive relationships with current and prospective clients
* Experience working in channel sales or selling through a third-party partner
* Demonstrated skill in negotiating and closing
* Works well in an rapidly changing environment able to adapt to changing circumstances quickly
