What youll do

* Provide the Strategic, Technical and Operational leadership to the Project Managers and Manufacturing Engineers in the execution of NPIs and growth projects.
* Lead Scheduling, budgeting, resource planning for Projects. Support the direct reports and stakeholders involved to make sure projects are delivered within budget planned and on time.
* Work in close collaboration with R&D and other stakeholders to ensure that GSC requirements for NPIs are well defined and achieved. Ensuring process governance.
* Coach and lead team to optimize the execution of new product launch Upgrades and improvements. Initiate new processes and methods that will improve safety, reduce product cost and/or improve product quality.
* Drive rigor on supply chain aspects including Product Life Cycle Management, Phase Review Discipline for NPIs, Design for Manufacturing, Lean & 3P, material management, and safety.
* Drive the team culture in all areas, focused on creating robust processes through root cause analysis, skilled problem solving and implementation of permeant fixes.
* Effectively managing the mechanisms that keep track of projects and communicate their status are in place and working to get the right visibility for support and proper updates.
* Manage Risks & Mitigation Planning through creative solutions. Represent manufacturing on a global cross-functional business project teams and Process development teams.
* Ensure regulatory compliance through Validation & Verification. Responsible for determining processes requiring validation, development of plans and analysis criteria, execution of final analysis and acceptance.
* Work closely with the business area leaders and manufacturing engineers to drive improved product quality and productivity by identifying manufacturing issues, developing cost effective solutions, and overseeing successful implementation of improved solutions into production.
* Design and develop new processes to support both short- and long-term business plans with productivity, capacity and quality improvements.
* Lead Compliance, as well as Environmental, Health & Safety efforts in support of plant goals.
* Support LEAN manufacturing implementation and mentality in the NPI projects and other projects led by the area. Work closely with the leaders responsible for the productions areas to make sure transition of NPI to production happens without disruptions.
* Provide safe processes that comply with all local and federal regulations.
* Assure that corrective action is taken to resolve observed safety concerns in all areas.
* Comply with the Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required.

Who you are

* Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related technical field, and 5 years of progressive responsible post-Bachelor s degree experience in related occupation required.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in production or engineering;
* Minimum 3 years of experience with Project Planning and Project Management and managing multiple projects to successful completion;
* Minimum 3 years cross-functional leadership experience including leading teams;
* Minimum 2 years of experience of Innovation, Development, Testing and Qualification as relates to New Product Introduction;
