Job Description
The Store Operations/Construction Project Manager works cross functionally with a diverse group of stakeholders while managing the critical path for the remodels, relocations and new store development process from pre-construction planning activities through completion of the project. This includes managing timelines and phasing plans with stores and other departments.
This role reports to the Director of Store Operations/Construction.
Position Overview:
* Consistently manage stakeholder expectations, project scope and change management
* Work with field to define roles and responsibilities to plan for the project [i.e. phasing plans have been completed, project lead, fixture lead and merchandise lead assigned and have been trained in their roles, operational readiness, punch list sign off]
* Participate in third party bidding process and onboarding
* Maintain and use process tools including playbooks, critical path and budget tracking to deliver projects on time and on budget
* Track daily process, identify and resolve issues throughout the process
* Responsible for holding all appropriate internal and external stakeholders accountable for deliverables
* Complete a postmortem upon completion of each project, evaluating successes and opportunities to develop best practices
* Follow all Company policies and procedures
* Complete special projects as assigned
Position Requirements:
* Bachelors degree is preferred
* Minimum 5 years experience in a retail environment, operations, new stores, relocations and remodels
* Experience using a cloud-based software platform for project management
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
* Ability to work independently in a demanding, fast-paced and evolving environment while maintaining levels of efficiency, organization and attention to detail.
* Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple, complex projects concurrently
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop relationships across all levels
