Our location in Scarborough, ME currently has an opportunity for a Supply Chain Security Specialist. This role will be responsible for the daily oversight of the facility supply chain security program. The SCSS will follow all Global Security and site-specific guidelines as they apply to supply chain security. SCSS will communicate as needed with site management and security personnel. SCSS will be responsible for all electronic data input and materials related to supply chain security.
WHAT YOULL DO
SCSS will prepare all the essential equipment and documents in advance for each monitored shipment after the shipping schedule is posted. Shipments can be live loaded or pre-staged. SCSS will be responsible for equipment procurement, secure control, inventory, and reorders for the following:
GPS devices.
* ISO 17712 High-Security bolt seals.
* Kingpins locks.
* Heavy Duty padlocks.
* Driver Departure Interview forms.
* Temperature Monitors
SCSS will ensure:
* Coordinate with security and warehouse personnel identify which carriers are scheduled to arrive daily
* All electronic data is correctly entered into the appropriate systems.
* Place an active, fully charged, and tested GPS device, with envelope, on the designated pallet.
* Drivers are interviewed and complete the proper documentation.
* All completed paperwork is securely stored
* Supply Chain Security training is proved to appropriate staff as needed
* Exterior security patrols are conducted regularly
* All related access control systems function properly
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOULL BRING
Required
* Minimum High School Graduate, some college preferred
* Must be self-directed and require little or no supervision
* Willingness to travel in the local area in support of other supply chain security needs when needed
* Ability to work shifts and overtime when needed
Preferred
* Possess some understanding of security systems, supply chain security, information security, and physical security
* Some analytical skills with the ability to define, collect and analyze data
* Ability to communicate within a multi-national, multicultural, setting; capable of interfacing with senior business leaders, staff, contractors, other security professionals to build strong relationships
