As a member of this team, you would contribute to CDM Smith's mission by:
-Creating client engagement strategies and pursuit plan for municipal clients in the Dallas/Fort Worth and West Texas markets
-Developing new business and maintaining high value relationships with clients
-Leading the strategy for pursuits in the geography
-Working effectively with Project managers, Key Technical Specialist and other members of the CDM Smith design team to ensure the projects are successfully delivered
-Being active in Professional Societies in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area
-Willingness to work hours outside the traditional 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. time frame
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
- Professional engineering (PE) license.
- 12 years of related experience.
- Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.
-Municipal water and wastewater business development experience
-Solid written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
-Strategic thinking, time management and planning skills
-Water and Wastewater business development experience in the Texas municipal water/wastewater market
